The Department of the Interior (DOI) Teaching School under the Interior Acquisition Institute delivers classes for the acquisition workforce (AWF) via the Department of the Interior University (DOIU). Please see our Teaching School Resource page for the upcoming class offerings.
Continuous learning opportunities should be used to obtain training in core competencies, maintain critical acquisition skills and obtain agency specific training. Regular participation in continuous learning activities enhances the skills of acquisition professionals, affords them opportunities for professional growth, and improves the quality of services rendered. There are a variety of ways you can earn Continuous Learning Points (CLPs). General guidance on CLP requirements for each Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC) area is available from the Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP). Seminars, trainings, presentations, and certain activities can be credited towards your CLPs. If you have a specific question about a course or developmental opportunity, please see your agency Acquisition Career Manager (ACM) if you are a non-DOI employee or Bureau Acquisition Career Coordinator (BACC) if you are a DOI employee.
