Description:
This course provides a framework for the participants to respond to the leadership challenges facing them and their organizations in new, more innovative, and more productive ways and satisfies the leadership performance outcomes necessary for the Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM) at the senior level. Students will gain, hone, and apply needed leadership and decision support knowledge to navigate the dynamics of the federal acquisition environment, drive strategic change, build teams and foster stakeholder relationships, and make strategic decisions. The course discusses how to; Evaluate leadership challenges in the federal system environment; Compose an effective leadership strategy to effect organizational change; Build high-performance teams and develop stakeholder relationships; and, Evaluate the system environment to make timely and effective decisions.
