We deliver a wide range of courses, programs, and customized learning solutions to maximize the potential of individuals and organizations. Federal employees and members of the Department of the Interior and its bureaus, can attend training at one of our strategically located training facilities or at the client's site upon request. OED also offers a full suite of online courses and programs.

Our Programs
DOI Supervisory Program
OED's supervisory curriculum follows the OPM Supervisory Development Framework and provides training for aspiring, current, and newly appointed supervisors. The curriculum consists of a wide variety of instructor-led and online courses.
Leadership Institute
Our leadership programs provide opportunities for employees at all levels to hone their leadership skills and develop knowledge of the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs). The leadership curriculum includes individual courses in addition to formal leadership programs for entry-level, mid-level leaders, senior leaders, and those who aspire to the Senior Executive Service (SES).
Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program (SESCDP)
The SESCDP is an OPM approved and certified program designed to develop the executive core qualifications of employees who have demonstrated strong executive potential. Candidates are competitively selected to participate in the program.
Tribal Consultation
OED offers tribal consultation training to build capacity for collaboration with Indian tribes and strengthen the government-to-government relationship. Training is open to all federal employees and tribal members with consultation responsibilities.
Learning Technology
OED promotes competency development through technology-enabled learning, giving employees access to training 24/7. We also develop customized online courses at the customer's request.
Acquisition Institute
The OED acquisition curriculum is designed to meet the mandatory training requirements for acquisition and contracting professionals and project managers. The curriculum is based on the acquisition and contracting requirements for civilian federal employees and meets FAI and OMB requirements and standards.
