Target Audience: Contracting professionals
Description: Learn about the simplified acquisition procedures and it's advantages (reduce administrative costs, promote contracting efficiency, and avoid unnecessary burdens for agencies and contractors). Understand the applicable policies and laws outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 and other related parts. You will learn the roles and responsibilities of those who participate in the process, how to buy through the GSA Federal Supply Schedule, ethical considerations, and other intricacies of simplified acquisition procedures.
Attendance Policy
Full attendance is required for all DOI University (DOIU) courses. Registration represents a significant investment in your professional development by you, your supervisor, and your office.
DOI University is an approved FAI Teaching School. All courses include a tuition fee, which applies to all federal employees, including those at DOI.
Registration & Credit
This course is managed through FAI Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD), the government-wide system for tracking acquisition and financial training. You must register through CSOD to receive credit.

Steps:
