Description
This workshop is targeted at those experiencing ambiguity and change. Participants learn the difference between transition and change and how to navigate through the predictable phases of transition. Students explore a proven set of tools, methods and approaches for making progress during times of turmoil and change. During the workshop, participants explore and practice the skills they learn so they can immediately apply them back on the job.
By the conclusion of this workshop, students will:
- Learn and practice using a set of models, constructs and frameworks for identifying and managing the various reactions to change
- Understand the difference between transition and change and what it takes to navigate successfully through the phases of transition
- Understand and practice methods for engaging others to create a critical mass for moving towards the desired future
- Gain a clear understanding of the personal phases of change, the associated behaviors and ways to manage those phases with the least amount of stress and turmoil
- Learn and practice how to find the opportunity during the crisis of change
- Learn various approaches for identifying and working through the various types of resistance
- Carefully consider their own situation and how to remain positive while keeping productivity high
- Obtain a set of tools for personal mastery over change and loss
- Learn how to balance the intuitive and analytical side of what is happening to yourself and others
