Summary and Objectives: As the employee looks forward to retirement, many questions arise. This seminar presents information about federal benefits, and explores options to maximize those benefits. All aspects of the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS and TransFERS) are examined. Participants learn about financial planning and how to become wise financial consumers. topics included: Federal Retirement Benefits, Social Security and MEDICARE (Including Parts A, B and D), Financial & Tax Planning and the TSP, Estate Planning and other Legal Issues.
