FFM 406- Federal Budget Process

Summary and Objectives:

This elective course will explore the major phases and timing of the federal budget process. This course will provide you with an overview of the federal budget process, its history, and how it impacts current legislative decisions. You will learn the roles of principal participants throughout the budget process, current issues affecting congressional actions, and how the budget is reviewed and audited.

DOIU/IAI is an approved FAI Teaching school. Our courses have a tuition fee, and our tuition fees apply to all federal employees, including DOI employees. Your office will need to pay our tuition fee with an authorized government purchase card and not through EFT. DOI University cannot accept non-appropriated funds from the private sector nor personal payments. We accept federally appropriated funds to pay the course tuition. DOI University cannot accept non-appropriated funds from the private sector nor personal payments. Our preferred method of payment is an authorized federal government credit card.
