Summary and Objectives: Participants will learn essential skills to gain the respect and support of others, as well as how to influence without authority. They will learn to use their role within the organization to lead, handle different personality types, solve problems and make decisions, become a change manager, and build solid long-lasting working relationships. Understand the critical role effective communication plays in managerial success
  • Learn tools and methods for anticipating and resolving conflict constructively
  • Develop tools for decision making and problem solving
  • Understand how to build and sustain effective working relationships upward, across and with employees

Session will NOT be held in person. It is a virtual event.

Tuition Payment Notice

Due to recent changes, many of you may no longer be able to pay tuition via Government Purchase Card. Before browsing our catalog please read our revised Registration and Tuition Payment Instructions.

Cancellation Policy:  Space in DOI University courses is limited. If you need to cancel, please provide written notification through email as early as possible. DOI University must receive the cancellation notification at least 15 business days in advance of the course start date. There are no refunds for cancellation notifications received after the designated time or for no shows, and tuition fees are not transferable to another course.

DOIU will send a confirmation email with specific class information about one week prior to your class. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a class until you receive email confirmation from Learning Center Staff.
