This fully interactive 2-Day workshop is set against the backdrop of case studies, examples, and hands-on exercises, this training course will ensure attendees are aware of the regulations of the U.S. General Accounting Office Principals of Federal Appropriations Law (Red Book) that they must abide by. The instructor will walk through engaging, experienced-based instruction to ensure participants understand how to help prevent misuse of appropriated funds resulting in anti-deficiency and other adverse actions.

To ensure you get the most out of our course/programs, please plan your commute accordingly to arrive on time for class. If you miss a day of class and do not notify DOI University, the DOI Talent attendance record will be marked as incomplete.
DOIU/IAI is an approved FAI Teaching school. Our courses have a tuition fee, and our tuition fees apply to all federal employees, including DOI employees.

Payment is due at registration, and it is the attendee’s responsibility to ensure payment is made. Failure to pay in a timely manner will result in your being dropped from the course. Your office will need to pay our tuition fee with an authorized government purchase card and not through EFT. We accept federally appropriated funds to pay the course tuition. DOI University cannot accept non-appropriated funds from the private sector nor personal payments. Our preferred method of payment is an authorized federal government credit card.
